Washing is a routine activity carried out to maintain the condition of the car. Inevitably there are many who provide car wash services, ranging from manual systems using humans to automatic use of machines.

Now along with the development, a car wash system appears called touchless car wash. The system works basically using a high-pressure water spray device to shed dust and dirt.

Robby Kurnia, CEO of AutoGlaze, a washing service and car care company, said that as the name implies touchless means washing cars without direct touch, from humans to brushes.

"The advantage is the first time to wash for 7-8 minutes. Second, because there is no direct touch, it means avoiding scratches from cloth or brush," Robby said in Tangerang on Monday (07/08/2019).

This touchless washing system still uses human power, the difference is that there is no direct touch. So the car is only washed using a high-pressure spray, starting from the underside to the body.

"If the manual system uses people to wash, rinse and dry it. For automatic use, basically still use a brush (brushes) to shed dirt, but in this new system there is no need for that," said Robby.

The order of washing the car with this system is, the car is sprayed with water, then sprayed with soap. The next step is rinsed using water again, given a coating in the form of liquid, and rinsed for the last.

"This system can be cleaner than full automatic or semi automatic washing (machine). Because the tool can be adjusted. Suppose there is a dirty part, the sprayer can be directed there until the dirt falls out," he said.
